Youthful Nigerian-born winger opts to play for England
Fejiri Okenabirhie, Nigerian-born wingerLONDON -. By Omobolaji Oyegunle. Nigerian football is on the verge of losing another talented British-Nigeria born winger to England.
The winger, Fejiri Okenabirhie, who plies his trade with Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club was scouted by former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia alongside Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi during camping in England organised by Ottaj Consultancy in 2011.
Daggers winger Fejiri Okenabirhie will now represent England C squad for the squad’a games against Punjab FA and Jersey FA.
England C manager Paul Fairclough has announced his 17 new faces for the side’s game against Punjab FA on Sunday, 28th May.
The same squad led by Okenabirhie will then fly out to the Channel Islands for their game against Jersey FA on Tuesday, 30th May.
