PDP Sets Up Post-Election Assessment Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party has constituted a Post-Election Assessment Committee to review and evaluate the performance of the PDP in the just concluded 2015 general elections and make recommendations for the repositioning of the party.
It will be recalled that the party’s presidential candidate and incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan was defeated by the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, in the March 28 election.
The party has also lost many states to the APC. According to a statement by the PDP National Publicity Secretray, Olisa Metuh, membership of the committee is as follows:

The committee is to be inaugurated on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja.
