Kwese Premier League: Gombe Bulls upset Kano Pillars

The Kwese Premier Basketball League Conference play-offs continued Friday with the Bauchi centre recording the biggest upset of the day as Gombe Bulls handed defending champions, Kano Pillars their heaviest defeat in recent times.

Both sides which are the top teams of the Savannah Conference continued their rivalry after the explosive encounter in last year’s final where the Kano side subdued their opponents to take home the N20 million top prize, the first of its kind in the league.
