The stage is set for the commencement of maiden edition of the F3TC Funke Treasure Table Tennis for girls Monday at the Indoor Sports Hall of Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
Twenty girls Schools drawn from public and private schools have all signified their intention to participate in the championship which strokes off Monday through Friday .
According to the initiator of the programe Funke Treasure- Durodola ,Anrhony Osae Brown will be educating the participating girls on financial literacy while Dr Kemi Ailoje will take them through Reproductive Health Rights on Tuesday and Pharmacist Sesan Kareem will speak on Drug Abuse and Doping on Wednesday as Temilolu Okeowo will be speaking on Confidence Building as part of activities for the week-long championship.
Some of the schools participating are: St Clare’s Girls High School,Regina James Academy,Bibire Inter-comprehensive College Front Model College Fruit of Love School,The Goodness and Mercy of God School, Yejide Girls Grammar School,Queen Of Apostles Commercial Secondary School,Oluyoro,Peoples Girls Grammar School,Molete, Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan Grammar School Queens School,St Annes’ School,Methodist Junior Grammar School and St Global Secondary Commercial School, Bodija.
The winners will go away with various cash award.
